9. Concrete Crack Repair
Concrete cracking is typically due to dry shrinkage in concrete, movement in the subbase, or excessive weight applied to a non-structural slab. Cracks are not only an eyesore, but they may hinder the value of the home or structure. Epoxies and polyurea products exist which are suitable for their repair. The repair of the crack alone will only minimally improve the aesthetics of the slab. To enhance the slab to nearly new condition, an overlay or micro topping application would be needed.

10. Decorative Concrete Overlays
It is now easy to give any concrete surface a complete facelift at a much lower cost then their removal and replacement. There are multiple options available for achieving any look imaginable with a concrete overlay. Polymer overlays can be applied in layers as thin as a credit card or up to several inches thick. They will adhere to existing concrete and resist damage from salt, chemicals, and freeze thaw conditions. However, it is important to note that not all concrete can be resurfaced. The underlying base concrete must be sound. Concrete that is heaving, has severe cracks, apalling due to freeze thawing, or resting on unstable sub-base is not suitable for overlays.
